Your own software, or a vendor you hire, can build quotes, book visits, and keep records in step with ResponsiBid.<\/p>\n<h2>What you can do<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Keep your records in sync.<\/strong> Read and update contacts, properties, bids, jobs, invoices, and follow-ups from another system.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Build and send quotes.<\/strong> Build and price a full quote with services, factors, bundles, discounts, and tax. Then turn it into a sent proposal.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Book visits.<\/strong> Request open appointment slots and book a visit once a proposal is signed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Get notified about changes.<\/strong> Subscribe to webhooks. Your system is told when a contact, bid, or job changes, so it doesn&#8217;t have to keep checking.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Record payments.<\/strong> Record a payment against an invoice.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Connect third-party apps.<\/strong> Apps can connect through OAuth. You approve what each app can access, and you can revoke that access at any time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Who can use it<\/h2>\n<p>Only a company Admin can create or revoke API tokens. A company Admin also approves OAuth connections from third-party apps.<\/p>\n<h2>Get started<\/h2>\n<h3>Connect with an API token<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Sign in to ResponsiBid as a company Admin.<\/li>\n<li>Go to <strong>Settings &gt; Company Settings &gt; API Tokens<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Create a new API token.<\/li>\n<li>Set up your system, or have your vendor set it up, using the token and the endpoints in the <a href=\"https:\/\/api-connect.bids.responsibid.com\/api\/v1\/docs\">ResponsiBid API developer reference<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Connect a third-party app<\/h3>\n<p>Third-party apps connect through OAuth. A company Admin approves the connection and the access (scopes) the app asks for. You can revoke the connection at any time.<\/p>\n<h2>Good to know<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The API can record a payment against an invoice, but it cannot charge a card.
