The adjustments feature in your ResponsiBid account has just been modified, giving you the ability to show the discount on the proposal.  This is an enhancement that will add visual value to the services you are offering, thus allowing for increased consumer confidence in proceeding through the Proposal Process.

To use this new feature do the following:

  • Open the Profile for the customer you would like to apply a discount to
  • Scroll down to the  Bids section, click on the Bid you would like to apply the discount to
  • Scroll down to the Quoted Services section and click on the Service to be discounted
  • On the Service page, under Final Proposal Pricing, click on the package to discount
  • Scroll down to the Adjustments section of that package and click the ADD button
  • A New Adjustment field will appear
  • Enter a written description for the discount, ie Veterans Discount
  • Select whether you want to apply a $ or % Discount by clicking the Dollar Sign icon
  • Enter the number that represents the discount you want to apply
  • Now click on the Up Arrow icon next to the number entered and select Discount
  • With Discount selected a new option presents with a check mark applied by default, which will show the new discount on the proposal
  • If you DON’T want to present the discount on the proposal you can uncheck the box
  • Notice the Copy to All Packages button, if you want the discount applied to all packages, click this option and the discount will apply to all the packages within the service being discounted
  • Now hit SAVE to save the adjustment just entered
  • Finally click SAVE at the bottom of the page to update the proposal.

Having followed the procedures, the new discount will now show on the Package presentation on the proposal and at the bottom of the proposal
