Using the “visit for bid” button in the call screen

When in the call screen at the time of intake, you may determine you need to see this property before you can give a quote, if you know early on, click the visit for bid button and schedule a quote. If you didn’t realize until after answering a few questions you can schedule the visit at the bottom of the call screen as well..

 

Scheduling a visit after a bid has been created

Once you click the bid, and get to the proposal, you may see a message to the customer like this.

This means in your settings you marked certain answers to trigger “bid in person” that way a customer doesn’t get an instant quote for that service, but instead sees this message. Now your admin is prompted to schedule an in person visit

 

Depending on your settings in the proposal builder, you may find the bid immediately placed in a status that will notify you the bid needs review! (This can be customized to go into the status of your choosing)

To schedule an in person visit for this Bid, you will move the status to “Visit” and follow the prompts to schedule manually or with crewcal

Choosing the duration


To set the default settings of a ‘visit for bid’,  go to Settings > Crewcal and enter a time in minutes for how long you’d like a visit to be!

 

Hiding a calendars from giving an in person bid

Not all employees may be fit to give an in person estimate, whether you have dedicated technicians and sales members, or some technicians are allowed and others aren’t, You can decide what calendars you may need to remove from the visit for bid option. That way your admin is only offered the calendars of those that have permission to give an in person bid. To remove permission from a calendar, toggle this setting in the on position.
