If you had ServiceMonster connected to your ResponsiBid account prior to the last update, you will need to verify that your settings are correct to work with the new connection.  To test your settings, please do the following.

  • In your ResponsiBid account, go to Settings, Connections
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page and hit Save
  • Now Look for the ServiceMonster Connection
  • From within the connection page, please select Test Connection
  • If you get a Connection Successful message, then you are good to go.

If you didn’t get a Connection Successful, then there are a few more steps

  • Open up your ServiceMonster Account
  • Click on Marketplace
  • Look for the ResponsiBid Icon and click on it
  • At the top of the page you will see two options, Detail and Configuration, Select Configuration
  • You will then see an option that reads “Click Here to revoke access to your Service Monster Data” Go ahead and click that option
  • You will now be taken to a new page that shows the ResposniBid/Service Monster Configuration portal
  • On this page, if you are asked which ResponsiBid User type you are, you will want to answer “I use the Bids server”
  • You will see a green box that reads “Yes, please connect my accounts”  Go ahead and click that option
  • You will now be taken back to your Connections page inside ResponsiBid
  • Scroll down to your ServiceMonster connection and click the Test Connection button
  • With the new credentials in place you should get a Connection Successful message.
