4 Ways to Use LiveSwitch with ResponsiBid

LiveSwitch is a really cool technology that allows your customers to use their phone to show you what it is that they want done as well as the specifics of their particular project. It makes it fast for you and them, but it also makes it a really quality interaction.

The question is obvious… How can I get that kind of visibility while building my quote in ResponsiBid?

Here are our 4 favorite ways:

Option #1: When someone calls in

If someone calls in to get a quote, you can go into your Live Switch account and send an SMS to them that gives them the link to start a live video call with you. You can snap pictures from their video feed, you can ask them to show you everything you have questions about… AND you can review the video call after the fact as much as you need. In the meantime you can be filling out the ResponsiBid Call Screen to build an accurate quote for them! It’s easy peasy!

Option #2: Send every prospect a link to record a video in order to verify 1st time quotes

This one requires sending a zapier webhook as part of the “Open” status follow-up sequence. It would allow you to set a timer in the open sequence so that LiveSwitch would directly send out an invitation to record a video from every new quote given. If you are interested in this process, there are 2 steps:

  1. Follow the steps in this article to get the webhook started with Zapier.
  2. Then follow the steps in this article to get the exact LiveSwitch zapier settings how you want them.

Option #3: Prompt customers filling out an online quote to record a video as they are filling out the form

This option means that you would potentially take a lead away from the instant quote process– maybe to never see them return– however in the case of more complicated quotes this could be a good thing. It would ask the customer as they are filling out the form to click a link to get an SMS to their phone so that they can record the project and send it over. They may feel less stress if the quoting process required them to know more than the average person about their project specs and you would still end up with their name, phone number, and potentially a video so the risk can sometimes be worth the reward. If you are interested in this process follow the steps in this article to set it up.

Option #4: Use your follow-up emails to encourage prospects to send you videos of their project

This option is really straight forward. The quote in ResponsiBid goes just as it normally would, but after the follow-up is initiated you could just send a link in the follow-up emails that encourages people who want to get extra special attention to the type of project they have to simply click a link and get the invitation on their phone to record their project. This makes the invitation a little more voluntary than option #2, but it still allows you to verify a quote given, or to release a bid in person quote that has a factor keeping them from pricing. If you are interested in this process follow the steps in this article to set it up.
