This option is really straight forward. The quote in ResponsiBid goes just as it normally would, but after the follow-up is initiated you could just send a link in the follow-up emails that encourages people who want to get extra special attention to the type of project they have to simply click a link and get the invitation on their phone to record their project. This makes the invitation a little more voluntary than option #2, but it still allows you to verify a quote given, or to release a bid in person quote that has a factor keeping them from pricing. To set this method up
- Login to your LiveSwitch account and go to Settings then scroll down to “Webforms and QR Codes”
- Build out a webform that matches what you want to prompt customers to give. (You can build out specific webforms for specific scenarios if you want too– for example if you want separate webforms for specific services, although that will typically be unnecessary.)
- Copy the link to that webform
- Open your follow-up builder (Settings > Follow-up Builder)
- Go into your Open follow-up sequence and find an email you would like to add the prompt to
- Edit that email to frame the reasons or circumstances that would make the best sense to record their project.
- Highlight the text that you would want to direct them to begin the recording process.
- Convert it to a link using the method shown in the video above.
- Be sure to click “save follow-up” down below to save your changes.
Once you have done all of this, you have a slick way to bring your prospects into contact with you and leverage a really cool technology as part of your quoting process!
