LiveSwitch Integration with ResponsiBid via Zapier
This integration requires sending a Zapier webhook as part of the “Open” status follow-up sequence. It would allow you to set a timer in the open sequence so that LiveSwitch would directly send out an invitation to record a video from every new quote given. If you are interested in this process, there are 2 steps:
- Follow the steps in this article to get the webhook started with Zapier.
- Then follow the steps below to get the exact LiveSwitch Zapier settings how you want them.
Once you have built the Zapier webhook and Parsed it as described in the article above, you are ready to proceed to the next step:
Adding the LiveSwitch Zap
This process is shown starting at 2:30 in the video above.
- Add a new action after parsing the ResponsiBid quote, using the LiveSwitch App
- For the event, first “Create Contact”
- Connect your LiveSwitch account by clicking that you accept the Zapier integration
- Then merge in the data you parsed in from the ResponsiBid quote to be used in creating the LiveSwitch contact (Phone, First Name, Last Name, and Email)
- You should be able to test that and see that it works. Note, if you didn’t require an email in ResponsiBid you may not see it in the test, but keep in mind that it’s not a required field for this integration, but you should still connect it in case someone does add it in the ResponsiBid quote because it will be another important identifier potentially later on.
- Next, add one more final action to the zap… choose LiveSwitch again.
- This time for the action, choose “Create Conversation”
- Merge in the ResponsiBid parsed field for the phone number again within the action
- Do not worry about adding the contact ID because LiveSwitch will do that for you
- You can now customize the message that will go out, and LiveSwitch will add the invitation link to the end of the message for the customer.
- For conversation type choose: “Recording Request” as this will allow the customer to do this even outside of your business hours.
- Be sure to set “Send Text Message” to “True”
- When you set this, it will send a text message to whatever phone number was in your test dataset for this zap, so be careful that you are using a test user in ResponsiBid that is ok for testing.
Once you have done all of this, you have a slick way to bring your prospects into contact with you and leverage a really cool technology as part of your quoting process!
